Are your products all natural? Our products are 100% natural. We use all natural, wildcrafted and USDA certified organic ingredients in all of our products.
Where do you get your ingredients from? We try to source our ingredients as local as possible, although a portion of our ingredients come to us globally. We only purchase from cruelty free, ethical and sustainable farming.
Do you use preservatives in your products? Yes – but all natural preservatives. We use a mix of radish root ferment and coconut fruit extract for our water soluble products and recommend using within 6 months, and our oil based body scrubs contain elderberry fruit extract as an antimicrobial and recommend using within 12 months. Our products are preserved naturally using broad spectrum activity to protect against bacteria, fungi, yeast and mold to increase their shelf life. We do not use synthetic or toxic preservatives or formaldehyde releasers. We strongly believe in naturally preserving our products as not all bacteria, fungi, yeast and mold can be seen with the naked eye.
What is the shelf life of your products? We recommend using our products within 6-12 months as they are all natural. To increase the shelf life, we recommend storing the product in cool, dry areas away from sunlight.
Are your products vegan and cruelty free? Yes! We are certified vegan and cruelty free by PETA. We do not condone animal cruelty and only test on humans.
Is your packaging recyclable? Yes! We use glass for everything, except our deodorants and lip products which are packaged in PET plastic (the most recyclable plastic) and our sugar scrub cubes are packaged in kraft paper bags.
Do you offer private labelling? Yes! In fact prior to launching Thirteen Organics in 2016, we only offered private label products to spas around the globe.
What is private labelling? We provide the products, you provide your label with your company name. We also offer natural cosmetic chemist formulation services, please email email@example.com for more information about these services.
